SaskCouncil

Unifor SaskCouncil is an administrative body which coordinates the activities of Local 1-S and 2-S which are the two locals representing inscope workers at SaskTel. In particular, SaskCouncil directs and coordinates matters pertaining to bargaining and also elects Unifor representatives to various board positions.  SaskCouncil normally meets three times annually, usually in February, June and October of each year.

The SaskCouncil body consists of:

• • The three officers of SaskCouncil:  Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer

  • The two Local Presidents (Local 1-S: Dave Kuntz; Local 2-S: Mike Pilipow)

  • Three voting delegates from each Local (one of which is the Local President or designate)

  • Four SaskCouncil bargaining committee representatives

  • Unifor National Representative
